The Val di Sole is a valley belonging to the western part of Trentino. The name, Val di Sole is not casual; here the sun is really the leading star of many days and seasons. The scenery is one of the most fascinating. The Stelvio National Park to the north and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park to the south, make Val di Sole a territory that is truly immersed in nature. The Val di Sole is surrounded by peaks of over 3000 m of altitude of the mountain ranges of Brenta in the south, the Ortles-Cevedale in the north and Adamello-Presanella in the east. Except lakes, there are also many rivers. The Noce River rises near the Corno dei Tre Signori (3360 m) in the Ortles Cevedale Mountain Group and after having crossed through the entire valley, it flows into the Lake of Santa Giustina.
The river offers the possibility to try different activities that all offer diverse ways to appreciate the uniqueness of its charm.

In the bottom of the valley we can find all the villages located near the Noce river, where in summer it is possible to practise kanoeing, rafting and hydrospeed. Each village has its churches, castles, old dwellings where time seemed to stop. The habits, the customs, the typical cuisine, the traditions are always the ones of past times.
